Casper Museum Consortium

The Consortium came together in 1998 as a joint venture between the City of Casper and the Natrona County School District with the common goal of marketing the top-notch facilities we have in Casper to both in and out of town visitors. We have grown into a relevant and useful organization in this community.

Werner Wildlife Museum

Located just a short walk from Casper College’s main campus, the museum includes a diverse selection of wildlife from Wyoming and the world. The focus of the museum is on Wyoming’s wildlife, but exhibits include animals from other parts of North America, Africa, Europe, Australia and beyond. Visit Old Six-toes the bear and Snowflake the albino deer who moved to the Werner after her death at the ripe old age of 9. (That’s pretty good for a deer!) The Werner’s additional exhibits include the Wyoming diorama with our newest additions, baby antelope twins Sage and Cedar and exhibits on fish, birds and taxidermy.
